Staff Frontend Engineer

Location: India, Hyderabad (Hybrid) / Remote

Requirements:

• Hands-on experience in frontend engineering, with a track record of leading complex projects.
• Deep expertise in React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Proven ability to architect and deliver rich, complex, high-performance UIs at scale.
• Strong experience designing integration patterns over REST APIs and GraphQL.
• Deep understanding of frontend performance, and cross-browser concerns.
• Demonstrated technical leadership: setting standards, driving architecture, mentoring engineers.
• Define patterns for state management, data fetching, and integration over REST and GraphQL
• Make and document high-impact architectural trade-offs; align them with product and business goals.
• Partner with design, product, and backend leadership to shape the overall product experience.
• Ability to mentor senior and mid-level engineers, and raise the technical bar across the org.

Nice To Have 

• Strong knowledge of Lit (lit.js) or other web-component frameworks.
• Experience integrating with the Model Context Protocol (MCP) or AI-driven tooling.
• Experience architecting design systems, micro-frontends, or large component ecosystems.
• Deep familiarity with state management and data-fetching architectures (React Query, Apollo, etc.).

Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Job Description:

• Lead the technical vision and architecture for the frontend platform, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and long-term sustainability.
• Design, develop, and optimize high-performance, responsive, and interactive user interfaces using React and TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Define and enforce frontend engineering standards, coding best practices, and architectural guidelines across multiple teams.
• Design scalable integration patterns for REST APIs, GraphQL, and modern data-fetching solutions.
• Establish best practices for state management, component architecture, and application performance optimization.
• Make critical architectural decisions, document technical trade-offs, and align solutions with business and product objectives.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Backend Engineering leaders to shape product direction and deliver exceptional user experiences.
• Lead complex cross-functional initiatives and provide technical leadership throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Mentor, coach, and support senior and mid-level engineers through code reviews, design discussions, and technical guidance.
• Drive initiatives for frontend performance improvements, accessibility, security, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Contribute to the evolution of design systems, component libraries, micro-frontends, and reusable UI frameworks.
• Evaluate and introduce new technologies, frameworks, and engineering practices to improve developer productivity and product quality.
• Ensure high code quality through testing, code reviews, CI/CD practices, and adherence to Git-based development workflows.
• Support the integration of AI-driven tooling, Model Context Protocol (MCP), and other emerging frontend technologies where applicable.
