Sr. Java Developer

Location: India, Hyderabad

Work Experience: 8–12 Years

Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience in backend software development with strong expertise in Java.
  • Proficiency in modern Java (latest language features and best practices).
  • Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and related backend frameworks for building scalable microservices.
  • Strong experience designing and developing large-scale distributed systems and cloud-native applications.
  • Proven expertise with AWS native services, including Lambda, EKS, EC2, S3, DynamoDB, and Valkey/Redis, with the ability to work independently.
  • Strong understanding of system design, with experience creating and reviewing High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documents.
  • Hands-on experience with open-source relational databases (RDBMS) such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
  • Experience working with NoSQL databases in production environments.
  • Strong troubleshooting and production support experience, including on-call support, performance optimization, reliability, and high availability.
  • Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
  • Experience building and maintaining regression, functional, integration (end-to-end), and performance test suites.
  • Working knowledge of Python.
  • Experience with Neo4j and RockDB.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered developer tools, such as Claude, to enhance development productivity and code quality.

Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Job Description:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Architect and implement large-scale distributed systems with a focus on scalability, reliability, and fault tolerance.
  • Design and review High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documents.
  • Build and manage cloud-native solutions using AWS services such as Lambda, EKS, EC2, S3, DynamoDB, Valkey/Redis, and other managed services.
  • Develop and optimize applications using RDBMS and NoSQL databases to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, resilient, and maintainable software solutions.
  • Optimize application performance through code profiling, database tuning, and infrastructure improvements.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code while following coding standards and engineering best practices.
  • Develop and maintain functional, integration, regression, and performance test suites to ensure software quality.
  • Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and technical mentoring to uphold engineering excellence.
  • Leverage AI-powered developer tools (e.g., Claude) to improve development productivity, code quality, and documentation.
