Security Engineer

Requirements:

Hands-on experience with security controls including MFA, PAM, EDR, DLP, and encryption technologies.
Proficiency in cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) including segmentation, DMZ implementation, and security baselines.
Experience in vulnerability assessment, configuration audits, and remediation tracking.
Strong knowledge of endpoint and network security configurations and hardening practices.
Experience in incident response, investigation, and post-incident analysis.
Familiarity with SIEM tools, log analysis, and security monitoring systems.
Experience in conducting cyber drills, phishing simulations, and security awareness programs.
Strong technical documentation and cross-team collaboration skills.
Relevant certifications (CEH, OSCP, CompTIA Security+, Azure/AWS Security) are preferred.

Qualifications:  BE/BTech degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Job Description:

Implement and validate technical security controls including MFA, PAM, EDR, DLP, and encryption.
Support cloud security segmentation (Production, Development, Staging) and DMZ implementation.
Validate endpoint and network configurations against defined security baselines.
Perform initial vulnerability and configuration assessments, documenting results and remediation steps.
Assist in technical control documentation, baselines, and handover reports to IT teams.
Collaborate with GRC and IT teams to ensure all technical controls meet compliance requirements.
Conduct periodic control validation, patch verification, and vulnerability remediation tracking.
Support incident response, investigation, and post-incident analysis.
Monitor endpoint, cloud, and network systems to ensure compliance with defined standards.
Participate in cyber drills, phishing simulations, and readiness exercises.
Provide technical inputs for quarterly risk assessments and maturity reviews.
Continuously enhance configurations and optimize controls to address evolving threats.
