Salesforce Project Manager

Location: India, Hyderabad

Work Experience: 10+ Years

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of project management experience, with at least 5+ years of experience leading Salesforce implementations.
  • Proven experience in delivering Salesforce projects in areas such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, or Field Service Lightning.
  • Strong experience managing projects using Agile/Scrum methodologies, including leading Scrum ceremonies and working in cross-functional Agile teams.
  • Extensive experience in change management, including organizational readiness, user training, and post-implementation support.
  • In-depth understanding of the Salesforce platform and how to implement and customize Salesforce solutions to meet business needs.
  • Strong experience with Salesforce Administration (e.g., user setup, security, profiles, workflows, reports, and dashboards).
  • Proven ability to manage the entire project lifecycle from initiation through to post deployment support, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource management.
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator (ADM 201) required.
  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or equivalent Scrum certification is required.
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I/II, Salesforce Sales Cloud Consultant, or Salesforce Service Cloud Consultant certifications.
  • Experience leading global or multi-org Salesforce implementations across multiple regions or business units.
  • Familiarity with Waterfall or hybrid project management methodologies may be beneficial.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any discipline from a recognized institution is acceptable.

Job Description:

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of Salesforce implementations, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and other Salesforce products.
  • Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines while ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, external vendors, and stakeholders to ensure resources are appropriately allocated and deadlines are met.
  • Manage the project using Agile/Scrum methodologies, ensuring iterative and incremental delivery of Salesforce solutions.
  • Facilitate key Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
  • Collaborate with Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and technical teams to prioritize backlogs and define user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Lead change management efforts to ensure successful adoption of Salesforce solutions within the organization.
  • Engage with stakeholders at all levels to manage expectations and ensure alignment on project goals, objectives, and outcomes.
  • Develop and execute communication plans to keep stakeholders informed of project progress, risks, and issues.
  • Oversee the quality of deliverables to ensure that the Salesforce solution meets business requirements and adheres to best practices.
  • Work with the QA team to ensure testing is comprehensive and that defects are identified and addressed promptly.
  • Continuously assess project processes and workflows, driving improvements in delivery and efficiency.
  • Lead and mentor cross-functional teams, including Salesforce developers, administrators, business analysts, and other stakeholders.
  • Manage resource allocation, ensuring that the right skills are applied at the right time to maximize team performance.
  • Foster a collaborative and productive team environment, encouraging innovation and continuous learning.
