Strong knowledge of OAuth 2.0, JWT, client credentials, basic authentication, mTLS, certificates, encryption, secrets, and secure connectivity.
Strong experience defining reusable assets, common frameworks, templates, and shared integration components.
Experience designing error-handling, logging, monitoring, alerting, and audit frameworks.
Strong CI/CD experience for MuleSoft using Git, Maven, build pipelines, deployment automation, and environment promotion.
Experience with unit testing and integration testing for Mule applications using MUnit or equivalent tools.
Strong understanding of API governance, versioning, access management, rate limiting, throttling, SLA policies, and reuse enforcement.
Strong familiarity with GitHub Copilot and MuleSoft Vibes.
Ability to define practical AI-assisted development patterns for coding, testing, documentation, reviews, and productivity improvement.

Ability to lead design reviews, governance forums, and architecture discussions.

Promote responsible use of AI tools without compromising client data, credentials, intellectual property, or compliance requirements.
Identify repeatable use cases where AI can improve delivery speed, documentation quality, test coverage, and developer productivity.
Train and mentor developers on effective AI prompting, validation, refactoring, and review practices.
MuleSoft certification, such as MuleSoft Certified Platform Architect or MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect.
Experience with CloudHub, CloudHub 2.0, Runtime Fabric, or hybrid Mule runtime deployments.
Experience with enterprise integration involving SAP, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Workday, databases, file systems, message queues, and REST/SOAP services.
Experience with messaging platforms such as Kafka, Anypoint MQ, IBM MQ, Azure Service Bus, or similar.
Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Bitbucket Pipelines, or similar CI/CD platforms.

Own and define the enterprise integration reference architecture using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
Design scalable, reusable, secure, and maintainable integration solutions across enterprise applications.
Define and enforce API-led connectivity patterns, including System APIs, Process APIs, and Experience APIs.
Lead solution architecture for MuleSoft integration projects across design, build, test, deployment, and support phases.
Define standards and guardrails for API design, implementation, error handling, logging, monitoring, security, and governance.
Establish reusable frameworks, templates, common services, shared libraries, and Exchange assets.
Design and govern integration intake processes, estimation models, delivery standards, and architecture review checkpoints.
Lead API design using Anypoint Design Center and promote reuse through Anypoint Exchange.
Define API lifecycle management practices using API Manager, policies, versioning, contracts, SLA tiers, and access controls.
Guide runtime deployment architecture using Runtime Manager, CloudHub, Runtime Fabric, or customer-approved Mule runtime environments.
Provide architectural direction for Mule 4.x development, DataWeave transformations, connectors, batch processing, API orchestration, and event-driven integrations.
Define integration security standards including authentication, authorization, OAuth, client credentials, mTLS, encryption, secrets management, and secure API exposure.
Establish standard error-handling, retry, circuit-breaker, exception mapping, correlation ID, and audit logging patterns.
Define observability practices for API metrics, logs, alerts, dashboards, tracing, and operational support.
Design CI/CD processes for Mule applications using Git, Maven, automated pipelines, environment promotion, automated testing, and deployment governance.
Define patterns for using GitHub Copilot and MuleSoft Vibes for code generation, test creation, documentation, code review, and developer productivity.
Lead design reviews, architecture governance forums, and technical decision-making with client and internal stakeholders.
Mentor MuleSoft developers and enforce reuse, design discipline, code quality, and platform best practices.
Collaborate with enterprise architects, security teams, DevOps teams, business stakeholders, QA teams, and delivery managers.
Support performance tuning, capacity planning, troubleshooting, production readiness, and release governance.
