A track record of integrating many third-party systems (REST, webhooks, pagination, rate limits, incremental sync), with an instinct for reusable patterns.
Hands-on experience with one or more security or observability vendors from the target list (or close equivalents).
Solid third-party auth: OAuth2 client-credentials, API keys and tokens, service accounts, and least-privilege scoping.
Proficiency in TypeScript/Node, with working comfort in JavaScript or Python.
Comfort normalizing varied vendor schemas into a shared canonical model.
Strong technical research and source-analysis skills: able to start with an unfamiliar vendor or product, navigate API documentation and product behavior, determine relevant data, identify the right APIs and permissions, and turn findings into an implementable connector design.
Data modeling for asset and topology relationships, including CI classes, relationships, and dependency graphs.
Experience earning vendor or partner integration certifications.
Exposure to integration or ingestion frameworks and pipelines.
ServiceNow platform familiarity.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any discipline from a recognized institution is acceptable.
Job Description:
Build connectors for security platforms (CrowdStrike, Zscaler, Palo Alto Networks) that pull shadow AI detections.
Build connectors for observability platforms (Splunk, New Relic, Dynatrace, and similar) that pull AI monitors, alerts, and metrics.
Scaffold each connector with the generator and implement only the vendor-specific parts: the vendor’s APIs, their auth (OAuth2 client-credentials, API keys/tokens), and their pagination.
Lean on the shared runtime for auth, retry, rate-limit handling, and telemetry; flag gaps to the platform team rather than forking.
Take each connector through vendor or partner certification, and keep it certified as vendor APIs change.
Maintain a growing catalog at scale: watch for API changes, fix breakage quickly, and keep coverage healthy using telemetry and failure-class signals.
