IAM Operations Analyst/Sr. Analyst – IGA Platform Support

Location: Hyderabad (Hybrid)

Work Experience: 5-8 Years

Requirements:

  • Experience in working with IGA platforms (SailPoint, Saviynt, or similar) in an operational/support capacity.
  • Familiarity with directory services (Active Directory, Entra ID, LDAP).
  • Exposure to audit/compliance environments (SOX, NIST, etc.).
  • Experience in supporting access reviews or certification campaigns.
  • Hands-on experience in IAM, IT Operations, or Security Operations.
  • Understanding of core IAM concepts:
    • Identity lifecycle (Joiner/Mover/Leaver)
    • Access provisioning and request workflows
    • Access certifications and governance controls
  • Experience working with ticketing systems and operational workflows.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow defined processes.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Timely and accurate execution of access provisioning and de-provisioning.
  • High completion rates and quality outcomes for access certifications.
  • Strong SLA adherence for ticket resolution.
  • Positive audit outcomes with minimal findings.
  • Reduction in manual errors and operational exceptions.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.

Job Description:

IGA Operations & Support

  • Execute daily operational activities within the IGA platform (e.g., SailPoint, Saviynt).
  • Monitor and resolve tickets, access requests, and operational incidents within defined SLAs.
  • Perform routine system checks, reconciliations, and job monitoring.
  • Escalate platform issues to engineering/vendor teams as needed.

Identity Lifecycle Execution (JML)

  • Process and monitor joiner, mover, and leaver activities.
  • Ensure timely provisioning and de-provisioning of access based on HR and business events.
  • Validate data accuracy and resolve lifecycle processing exceptions.

Access Request & Provisioning

  • Fulfill access requests through approved workflows and procedures.
  • Validate approvals and ensure access aligns with policy and least privilege principles.
  • Coordinate with application teams for provisioning and issue resolution.

Access Reviews & Certifications.

  • Support execution of access certification campaigns (user, role, and application reviews).
  • Track completion, follow up with reviewers, and escalate overdue actions.
  • Document results and support remediation activities.

Audit & Compliance Support

  • Provide evidence for audit requests and control validation.
  • Support remediation tracking and closure activities.
  • Ensure adherence to IAM policies, standards, and procedures.

Application Onboarding (Operational Support)

  • Assist with onboarding applications into the IGA platform from an operational perspective.
  • Validate account data, entitlements, and access structures.
  • Support testing and post-onboarding access verification.

Process Execution & Continuous Improvement

  • Follow documented IAM operational procedures and playbooks.
  • Identify process gaps, inefficiencies, and recurring issues.
  • Recommend improvements to enhance automation and operational efficiency.

Reporting & Metrics

  • Track operational metrics (e.g., SLA adherence, request volume, certification completion).
  • Maintain accurate records of activities and outcomes.
  • Support reporting for audit, compliance, and leadership visibility.
