Proficient in SQL, with the ability to write and optimize complex queries for data validation.
Hands-on experience with ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, DataStage, SSIS).
Solid understanding of data warehouse concepts, including star/snowflake schemas and relational databases (Vertica, Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, etc.).
Experience with Python and developing automation utilities.
Experience with ETL testing methodologies, including data completeness, correctness, transformation, and reconciliation testing.
Experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau for report validation.
Familiarity with defect tracking tools (JIRA, HP ALM, Bugzilla, etc.).
Basic knowledge of Big Data and Cloud platforms (AWS Redshift, Snowflake, Google BigQuery) is a plus.
Experience with scripting languages (Python / Java Selenium) for test automation.
Experience working within Agile/Scrum methodologies.
