Staff Backend Engineer

Requirements:

• Hands-on experience in software engineering , with a strong track record of architecting production systems.
• Deep, hands-on Java expertise & Proven experience designing and building low-latency, high-performance systems.
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and their real-world performance characteristics.
• REST / SOAP / OAuth: Designing and consuming web service integrations securely.
• Integration Hub: Building and managing spoke actions and flows for third-party system connectivity.
• Strong Problem solving skills and applying Systems thinking.

Nice To Have

• Experience with real-time or near-real-time processing at scale.
• Exposure to AI-driven tooling or the Model Context Protocol (MCP).
• Familiarity with off-heap memory, lock-free data structures, or zero-copy techniques.
• Contributions to open-source performance or infrastructure projects.
• Expertise in metadata management, data lineage, or data governance workflows.
• Experience in the data and analytics space. You should be comfortable discussing data schemas, ETL concepts, and how they translate to user needs.

Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Job Description:

• Architect and build distributed, low-latency, performance-oriented systems in Java.
• Stay hands-on: write production code, prototype designs, and lead by example in the codebase.
• Define system architecture, data flows, and integration patterns for high-throughput workloads.
• Make deliberate trade-offs across consistency, availability, and performance, and document the reasoning.
• Mentor senior and mid-level engineers and drive design and code reviews.
